Up at 3 AM - So What?... I've seen some videos that have said that if you are awakened at 3 AM, you will know it is a message from God. At first, I thought, without even listening to the video, that this could be a miracle... And then logic came to me... It could be because of the time you go to bed... Simple? Right? But if you are prone to believe just because somebody or some book or some other method of getting a message to you is routinely "believed," then you are probably going to disagree with the first pastor who speaks above.
I openly point out that it wasn't until 2015 and hearing that a man thinks he can grab women and get away with it was sharing that to a newscaster, that I started listening. BTW, I consider one of my personal "good" attributes is that I am a good listener. Also a good reader which comes from the same desired skills I was given... So prior to that time period, my life was insulated for the most part to work, church, and home responsibilities. As you may have read, I also went into job burnout because of that time use, which became unbalanced toward the work environment... So, I think I learned much from that unwanted result...
For instance, even after decades, yesterday, I pinpointed a "trigger" which automatically puts me into PTSD and that period when my mind and emotions could not handle any more. For me, what that means is that I cannot deal with that "something" that has arose requiring action.

But PTSD was caused purely from an organizational disfunction that was uncontrolled... Easily way to think of this is that PTSD was originally identified by soldiers who were traumatized by being in a war situation... Different emotions; similar brain manipulation...
Manipulation is a word that I may be using more often as I write in the future... Consider what I personally went through to have actual data to understand what the first pastor said... Very specifically, I met people online who were "those" people who I personally didn't know about... It is only as history has been written and people have spoken out. That poets have shared their lives as indigenous or Black people have fought for freedom that we have learned that, just as the pastor said, we have never been a Christian Nation. Now, for me, how I've been referring to my recognition is by pointing out that even though people moved to what is now called the United States, originally, often, for freedom to worship as they chose, they, in turn, immediately set out to manipulate the people who were already here--the indigenous people of all races--to force "their" religion on these individuals! As Spock would say, that is illogical... And, indeed, that is true...
So, how were we manipulated? History books were written that never talked about both sides--or, rather, all sides--of the people who were living in on the land to which they had immigrated. Indeed, as you get into the history, you will find that many of those early people had a different color skin or some other racial difference. Jesus said that we were to love our neighbors...
We killed and took land that was already "used" by indigenous people. We brought black people onto the lands, not as our brothers, but as slaves to work for nothing, be beaten and raped to produce more workers, and then fought the government to try to claim these people were "less than" white people... While they preached that God was the creator of all men... Beginning to see the manipulation of God's words to love our neighbor?

It was earlier than 2015 when religion began to be connected to politics. What I knew at that time was that it began when an online preacher started a university, and began to talk and preach about that merge. I remember only because we kids made fun of the preacher who was known to also heal people... But he did it by placing his hand on their head, pushing them back so they would fall backwards and call loudly "Healed!" aT family gatherings, we would start playing "healing" games... each going to another and yelling "Healed!" Funny the phrase never was "Healed by the grace of God..." or even any attribution...
What I know is that I have no idea whether anybody was ever healed by this preacher, but seeing his "act" was viewed by we children as an act--a performance...to gain attention to what Christ did by simply placing his hand on somebody... Remember, the woman who touched His garment in belief and He told her that her faith had healed her. These are the stories that, to me, differentiate between the Truth of God and the manipulation by man...
Because when I heard this man's name as being a leader in the effort to merge religion into politics, I remembered a man who also pushed people to the floor as if to prove that he was involved in that healing... Funny that is also once again being played by the actors in government.
And I wonder just how many people through the years actually believed what this man preached... Were they worshipping man or God?
I remember the first result of that effort was when I was asked to sign a petition to have stores closed on Sunday to allow people to go to church. Or was it that the stores wanted to stay open? In any event, I didn't sign it. But later I thought about it and realized that my Mom worked some Sundays to feed students on campus... And I thought about medical staff who worked Sundays to take care of those who needed help. Why should a store being open or closed be relevant to church attendance?
And then prayer was eliminated at school as part of the opening for the day. Later it was change to a quiet contemplation or something like that... But nobody ever came up with a way to recognize God as part of their day, because by then, there were so many divisions of that god that the rules changed based upon a specific religion... And they each claimed that their god was the one to worship... and were willing to go to war to prove that and their devotion...
Why is it that we cannot understand the concept of God without arguing about it?
Yesterday I watched a Star Trek movie... Have you seen it? It is by a different creator and there is a major difference which I choose to claim is manipulation... Tell me, does anybody know what I am talking about?
It is a movie which used the exact names of characters used in the original movie but they aren't... They are mostly white and young. Meaning that they don't show the diversity of characters which was available in the original Star Trek. Ok, I'm a Trekkie from way back and got more involved when I met an author who was connected to the earlier writer of the original series. Recognizing, yes, this is fiction and does not necessarily have to mimic the original. But, what it does do is potentially influence those who watched this later version... This movie was out 10 years ago...around the time when questionable actions began...
Or have you noticed that key public figures are being used in videos that are not created by those key public figures? I've begun questioning authorization, while others are routinely responding to material which, in my opinion may or may not be truthful... Yes, I have the time and interest in exploring just how we are being trained, or shall I call it by the right name--manipulated-- to respond to information which we can no longer be sure is actually the Truth? I'll be writing about other examples as time goes on... Main reason? Right now, the only news group that I trust is MSNOW. That group is new, as being split off from from a major television company. I didn't bother doing the research as to who, when, why, how it happened. And, I have come to trust this group... That's why I'm raising the questions related to Rachel Maddow and other analysts from that site being used in what appears to be AI generated material. Why are these duplicative activities being created? I don't have an answer, but it bothers me as it relates to one word.
Truth--How will we ever know whether somebody is being truthful. We have obviously seen that a major government part of the legal system has been corrupted and controlled by political issues as opposed to existing law...
God's Truth - How will we know who is sharing God's Words? As opposed to its being used as a political tool to garner votes?
Well there is one generic way.... The Golden Rule - Do Unto Others as you would have Them Do Unto You...
Very few people actually want to use violence to get what they want. Some people feel they must use violence because they are hungry or were fired from their job and have no way to move forward... A small minority of people are rich, powerful and work to do good for others. Jimmy Carter comes to mind... The former governmental unit, USAID also provided that support.
And then there are those who have purposely chosen to seek power, riches, and control of others for purely egotistic reasons. Their purpose is only self-centered...
As we look to the future, where are you in this world-wide population? This is Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. I've always found it helpful for me to use as a self-help type of graphic... Where am I on this set of goals? Where do I need to be to be independently free to be? Where do I plan to be in the near future? And, ultimately, am I happy and content with where I am right now?

After the political environment became so arbitrary, confusing, and fearful, I have reverted to the level of Safety. Specifically, there is constant concern about medical stability, there is concern about financial stability, and there are signs of instability at the lowest level of being able to obtain help when I need it...
For a country that is supposedly one of the richest and progressive in the world? I'd say that we are indeed going backwards... Because at one time, I was living at the bottom level, with my mother constantly working to provide for her four children as a widow... How could our country have gotten to this point in history? It began, I think, when religion and politics were no longer separated, even if at that time, only in the minds of at least one political party and/or the small minority who are richer than they ever should be... Who could possibility conceive of being the "first trillionaire"? And yet, when we saw the damage he instigated immediately with DOGE, we saw a man who appeared to be...without a conscience of any kind...who joined other like-minded white men who prefer absolute control at the top $ group.
And the Why???
Change is important to the ongoing maintenance of our world and its environment. Life expectancy, for example, is a good illustration. I am now eight years older than the age when my mother died. Advancements in the medical areas alone are something that routinely had been shared across the world. Right now, we are purposely being forced backwards in all ways related to health care. And the benefits that had been provided have been eliminated... Reasons are known to all of us, yet, with the manipulation of leaders who have specific goals for themselves rather than the people who pay taxes have routinely attempted to "make america great again" by moving backwards to a time when there was nobody other than white men in politics making decisions... Something that led to inequality to all peoples...
For what you have done unto the least of these, you have done to me...
