The 2025 Presidential  Transition Project 

A NOTE ON  “PROJECT 2025” 

We want you! The 2025 Presidential Transition Project is the conservative movement’s unified effort to be ready for the next conservative Administration to govern at 12:00 noon, January 20, 2025. Welcome to the mission. By opening this book, you are now a part of it. Indeed, one set of eyes reading these passages will be those of the 47th President of the United States, and we hope every other reader will join in making the incoming Administration a success. History teaches that a President’s power to implement an agenda is at its apex during the Administration’s opening days. To execute requires a well-conceived, coordinated, unified plan and a trained and committed cadre of personnel to implement it. In recent election cycles, presidential candidates normally began transition planning in the late spring of election year or even after the party’s nomination was secured. That is too late. The federal government’s complexity and growth advance at a seemingly logarithmic rate every four years. For conservatives to have a fighting chance to take on the Administrative State and reform our federal government, the work must start now. The entirety of this effort is to support the next conservative President, whoever he or she may be.

In the winter of 1980, the fledging Heritage Foundation handed to President-elect Ronald Reagan the inaugural Mandate for Leadership. This collective work by conservative thought leaders and former government hands—most of whom were not part of Heritage—set out policy prescriptions, agency by agency for the incoming President. The book literally put the conservative movement and Reagan on the same page, and the revolution that followed might never have been, save for this band of committed and volunteer activists. With this volume, we have gone back to the future—and then some. — xiii 

It’s not 1980. In 2023, the game has changed. The long march of cultural Marxism through our institutions has come to pass. The federal government is a behemoth, weaponized against American citizens and conservative values, with freedom and liberty under siege as never before. The task at hand to reverse this tide and restore our Republic to its original moorings is too great for any one conservative policy shop to spearhead. It requires the collective action of our movement. With the quickening approach of January 2025, we have two years and one chance to get it right. Project 2025 is more than 50 (and growing) of the nation’s leading conservative organizations joining forces to prepare and seize the day. The axiom goes “personnel is policy,” and we need a new generation of Americans to answer the call and come to serve. This book is functionally an invitation for you the reader—Mr. Smith, Mrs. Smith, and Ms. Smith—to come to Washington or support those who can. Our goal is to assemble an army of aligned, vetted, trained, and prepared conservatives to go to work on Day One to deconstruct the Administrative State. 

The project is built on four pillars. l l l l 

Pillar I—this volume—puts in one place a consensus view of how major federal agencies must be governed and where disagreement exists brackets out these differences for the next President to choose a path. 

Pillar II is a personnel database that allows candidates to build their own professional profiles and our coalition members to review and voice their recommendations. These recommendations will then be collated and shared with the President-elect’s team, greatly streamlining the appointment process. 

Pillar III is the Presidential Administration Academy, an online educational system taught by experts from our coalition. For the newcomer, this will explain how the government functions and how to function in government. For the experienced, we will host in-person seminars with advanced training and set the bar for what is expected of senior leadership. 

In Pillar IV—the Playbook—we are forming agency teams and drafting transition plans to move out upon the President’s utterance of “so help me God.”

Response to this, so far...

It is quite clear that the republican party (conservatives) have no interest in working at a national level to preserve and expand the democracy we have...

It is also quite clear since January of this year, that the personnel hired by this presidency were not trained and/or have been sworn to loyalty to a mandate of conservatism as opposed to the true Mandate for America: The Constitution!

While the campaign took place, Trump did not acknowledge Project 2025 had anything to do with him, yet began to use "we have a mandate from Voters..." My guess is that, including me, nobody had access to this document before the election...

Please note that, even in this document, the writers charged that Marxists were now in charge... Who even knows what a marxist means as used by these writers! What I know is that Joe Biden has already been judged to have done more for America in his one term than any other presidnt in the recent past. Judges by Americams as a whole during that period...not just for conservatives...

May 19, 2025 - Within the Sounds of Silence - Early Life Vs Present Chaos The Loss of Women's Right to Choose

 

Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence

Whether it's through a dream, a flashback, or when words reflect something that is in my past, my life has been full of both joy and sadness... and now anger...

About a week ago, I woke up from a dream of various chaotic things that had been going through my mind, based upon what has been happening... Many of them relate to women and how they have and are now being treated... It was during my mid-teens, after I had been baptized, decided the King James Version was not for me and found a Bible that is no longer in print, that I started reading the Bible regularly--it was written in "American" so I could easily understand all that I was reading.

One day I did what many people, I am sure, have done before... I thought of a question--What dos my future hold?--and opened the book, expecting an answer. It actually worked... it was a story about a family that I opened to... By that time, I wasn't too sure about the whole idea of being a wife and mother and, at that time, I confessed that I didn't think I wantd that future... God listened...

I can't remember what happened... All I know that when my uncle died years later when I was old enough to understand, I had a reaction to his death... I was glad he was dead(!)... I cried as I looked into his coffin--not in sadness, but in guilt for being happy he was dead... At that time, I had to realize that he'd hurt me when I was very young, probably through touch, and I'd never been able to release that feeling of pain.

It wasn't the only incestual touching... also, all by those active in church... Through the years, I've read of many stories of incest, including within the church.

I'm sharing this for a reason outside of my own life memories... I feel strongly that this is one of the main reasons that women, in past years, have sought out and sometimes died through attempts to abort a child from incest, from rape, from marital abuse (rape)... What has led to so much sexualization of America/the world that it has become worse? Consider pedophilia, human trafficking, ongoing rapes, sexual abuse of children, sexual harassment on the job... Seducation of our young (on the lonely) online...

There is no way that I can ever be convinced that it is a sin to want to rid our bodies of the sexual connection with people that should never have happened. For me, it led to mixed feelings about my own sexuality for the rest of my life. I had been exposed, too early, to both good feelings and bad feelings related to sex which left me confused, angry, and full of distrust... while at the same time, finding that I enjoyed being sexually attractive to men... I have NO DOUBT that many young girls have been placed in the same situation in one way or another... Mainly because sex has always been Within the Sounds of Silence...

Knowing this and seeing how women's bodies are now being controlled by the government is...just...an... impossible...situation that we cannot allow to continue!

A number of issues came to my mind as I became involved within the adult world, and, especially, when I started reviewing books... Some books have even been written under a different name or simply anonyously--women needed to write about something that happened that greatly bothred them, but they were/are afraid to share and talk about it openly. I say, "No Wonder!"... And when Roe was overturned, all my feelings of childhood sexual abuse came back, not to share about my own life as a Christian woman... No, these  ongoing actions toward women had started and been made a part of the Bible that some call the Word of God. I firmly have NO DOUBT that what certain men think about women is not what God intended... Free will or not...

I kept silent until after I had graduated highschool. One of the things that changed my mind was the Me-Too movement!

It didn't surprise me that a Black woman initiated this major movement that spread across all social sites at that time... After all, many of us who studied our family charts, or read historical books knew that many owners of slaves, or their overseers, raped their Black females... often purely as a financial reason to increase his slaves, who were "owned" even if they were mixed-race...

Yes, sexual power arrived at my door as soon as I started working full-time... My thought, so what else was knew? What really bothered me, and I assume many others, was that women began to imply that I was involved with a boss just because I was promoted, while they remained in their jobs... That hurt, since I worked hard to get good grades, to continue to learn, and prepare myself for advancement... Did they? But, let's face it by the '60's when hippies were promoting "Free Love," it was already part of our culture. Ads included women in bathing suits or sexy clothes to entire women...and men...to dress to attract the opposite sex... Billions of dollars have been spent on such products, by the use of sexual attraction. Let me clarify, these are not necessarily critical statements, it is merely factual statements of the evolution from ancient times of men taking or owning women to satisfy their own desires... In fact, there are a number of sexual activities in the Bible which when read, and then left for interpretation, are the basis of much of what has evolved, in my opinion. Consider for example, the actions of King David related to Bathsheba as well as doing nothing when his daughter was raped by her brother...

Now, we have an administration and some part of America who claim that the past was better for "family." I can only point out that there are good and bad issues at all times in life... Going backwards achieves nothing other than eliminate all the good that has been made to bring the world forward.

During the campaign we began to see the truth about how Trump treated women... When I saw Trump leaving his podium and walking back and forth behind Clinton, I knew exactly who he was... I had met a couple of them during my tenure on a university campus where power is often used as control of employees... (or at least attempts) I never gave in to attempts to use power to change me, so was ultimately "disappeared..."

I could keep on sharing video after video about problems with pregnancy during the time that abortion bans have placed so many different procedures state by state to create more trauma for a woman than when we had doctors who were working, in confidence rather than fear, to ensure all women are given the best care possible... If you'd like more examples of women from all races, let me know and I'll do the research to bring them to you--but most can be found on YouTube, especially covered by MSNBC...

Let's put it "bottom line" for the present preesidency,  DEI implementation by the president has made it quite clear that non-white patients and women patients (and employees) are being pinpointed for no reason... other than bias, prejudice and hate by those rich, powerful and white men...This about says it all doesn't it...

By the way, I added a video above, which just came out related to the death of Epstein... You may remember that he was charged and convicted for having very young girls available at his "parties..." Whether by incest or men like Epstein, it seems the younger they are, the more power they feel over females, don't you think? No wonder white men want to return to the days when they were allowed to be "white supremacists..."

Today is voting in my state... I will be there!

I thought since I'm using this song as the theme for my memoir series of posts, I should provide a little background and the words... The song was written by Paul Simon of the duo Simon & Garfunkel...

The most important thing I learned was that reviewers said that this song was written ahead of its time... How true that has proven to be! I hope you will spend time with me as we explore the words that Simon wrote in the last decade...

On the other hand, when I first heard the following video of the same song, I could not help but become excited as the dramatization of the video emphasized so much the importance of the words...

There is the darkness of the words reflected much more effectively as we pause to consider just how greatly the world has changed during the last decade as a man has introduced the "art of lying" so much so that at one point early on, a child started doing the same... And when the parent chastized him, he calmly said, "Why?" The President lies, we all know it..." Ok, this may have been a story that was created, but, isn't that what the president has been doing his entire life? And apparently continued into all that he has done since. 

We are losing much in America during this administration. Colleges are being attacked; Public Radio and entertainment venues are being attacked... Funds that have been routinely provided have been taken with no explanation or action by Congress... People post online, it is discovered and suddenly they are being investigated by the DOJ! Worse, people are being judged guilty without due process, a mandate of our constitution...which is constantly being overridden by this administration...

Indeed, it is a very dark period in the lives of American citizens. You don't have to play the videos every time I post them...but just seeing the singer will hopefully remind you that we are in, perhaps, the darkest place we have ever been in...because the madness is at the top of America...and at this point, it appears nobody can figure out how to stop his retribution actions against anyboth and everybody...

Within the Sounds of Silence - May 17, 2025 - 1940s through 60s versus Present Decade

 

Sounds of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel is one of all-time favorite songs... As in most times in my life, the words of a song (or a book) became most important. This one because of one word: Silence... Often, when I would start singing this song in my mind, I would substitute Silence instead of Darkness... Beginning, "Hello, Silence my old friend, I've come to talk with you again..." Darkness was just opposite of light...  but silence had meaning to me... I have always been a person who needs quiet time. In my early life, we lived in the country, where I've come back to, after spending many years living in Morgantown, WV, where I worked at the University starting right after graduating from high school...

Living in a small town of New Geneva, most of our lives outside of home were in school or church, which often held social events as well as regular services. I was given piano lessons--enough to learn enough to play hymns at church, LOL... I was not destined to be a pianist... Rather I became a singer, in church, in choirs, as a soloist or paired in some way or with some group... Of course, practice was part of all of that, as well as "homework."

It was a quiet life, and a safe one. Often, I would be allowed to go for a walk. That normally meant up a back road to sit or wander around my grade school which was within walking distance from home. Church was in the same area... But sometimes, I would walk the railroad tracks across from my home on the one main road into and out of town... Or, go down to the Monogahela River which flowed along the route of the railroad track... I'm a pisces, so does that mean that I like water? Well, I do enjoy just watching it flow, steady, constant, peaceful for the majority of time. I can also remember times when I've been near rough water--going down rapids, et.al. I found it exciting even though I never learned how to swim... LOL...

I was the last of four children, a brother being the closest sibling, so by the time I was able to go out by myself, all of them were already involved in other activities... I became a loner and have remained so all my life. I've never been afraid to be alone, in fact, I have preferred it in my later life...

The only thing that stood out to me as a girl who was baptized at age 13, was my learning that, also within walking distance, a man and woman lived who, I had learned, the man was a member of the KKK. Now, up until I was beginning my 7th grade in school, I had never even talked to a Black person. I might have seen them at groceries stores, but didn't know anybody personally. Yet, in some way, I had learned what the KKK was all about and I was horrified, especially when I learned that his wife, later, had been one of my best friends in school... Did she also hate Black people, I wondered? And, Why would somebody choose to "hate" somebody just because they were a different color? I was one of those "Doubting Thomas" types who was always asking the "Why?" of things...

Another thing that bothered me early on was, even though, at family reunions, there would be multiple religions, we were Baptist, but also Mennonites and a couple others... But, one of my uncles was a Baptist minister (Southern), and I remember that he would bring little brochures about the Catholic Church when he came to visit... They all related to sexual issues as problems within the church. At that time, it was between nuns and priests... Later, One of my Catholic cousins became a nun... Questions would pop into my mind... So does one uncle who I'm supposed to love, affect how I feel about my cousin who was a nun who I also loved... And when incestual issues came into my early life, somehow I knew they were wrong though nobody had told me at the time they had started that could happen, especially not the family, nor the church... But, I did learn about Keeping Silent... In fact, I never talked about any of it until the "Me Too" movement started years ago...

We were not a talkative family when we were growing up. Main reason is that my mother was always working to provide food and shelter for 5 individuals. Truthfully I never felt close enough to any of those individuals to ask the questions that began to swirl in my mind... All I had were the songs I had learn in Sunday School and Church...

At age 13, I decided to follow the words of Jesus and have never seriously listened to any other words that came from anybody if they contradicted what I knew to be God's Truth.

Throughout my life, I share that I have stumbled, I have myself, with free will, turned away from what I might have been taught... But, still, at the same time, I was always reading to learn more about The God of Truth...

While I was meeting my first Black person who I came to love as one of my best friends throughout highschool, I was now also riding a bus and attending school in a nearby fairly large town, at least for me, to be able to roam around during lunchtime... LOL There were many different races in that school and we were able to become involved in school sport activities, such as going to football games and more. Being the youngest, as well as living in a town from which somebody would have to drive me to these events, I never participated. I was part of a small group of friends--three girls and two boys--who I had met through my bus rides to and from school, and we were very close, but, of course, I was not allowed to date at that early age... Get the idea of knowing about Silence...?

In 2015, because I was now retired, not by my choice, at least from the University's administrators at that time, I was now living in my present home and was blogging/reviewing on a regular basis... But, I was also becoming much more involved in the outside world I had learned about in earlier years...

I don't know how I stumbled across CNN as the first full-time news television station that I had ever known (simply because I hadn't had the time nor interest in watching so much news, LOL). But it was on that station that I first heard the infamous tape that I've used often on my blog...

I was thoroughly disgusted! Thereafter, I became something of a fanatic for keeping track of this man, who I surely would not and did not vote for! I recognized that I had been in somewhat of a sheltred life... On the other hand, it personally offended me based upon what happened in my earlier years. Later, I was applauding the millions of women who marched against Trump in 2016. While in a discussion with my sister, I found that my sister was disgusted at the women choosing to create pussy hats... I had been laughing as she said it... and realized, probably for the first time in my life, that I had no really close relationship to my sister or, in fact, to many of my family. I began to think of myself as the "black sheep."

By this time I had learned that God was within me... I used the literal definition of most hymns I sang, this was one of them by which I had learn that I should use my eyes and all of my senses to recognize when something was to be avoided or rejected in some way...

But that included...Keeping Silent when in the presence of family. Once I was even told that if I was a Christian, I had to be a republican... Well, that didn't phase me a bit. I knew that what I saw with my own eyes could not be a lie and I knew that what I was seeing was a very bad man... I didn't know at that time, exactly how bad... but I learned by watching the news and reading... Too many people were all talking about the same things that I personally saw and heard. I registered democrat as soon as I learned that I couldn't vote as an independent in my state on primary elections...

In addition to the foul mouth and the obvious disdain for women by DJT, I quickly saw that he was unable to handle the job description for the presidency. By then, I had been in various university administrative offices and could easily understand the job requirements and that Trump was not only not qualified, but, more importantly, he was also a liar... Now, as I look back on the last years, I wonder if I've been a liar with my siblings, by virtue of keeping silent rather than speaking out... If so, it is what it is, that many are now using as a saying... In other words, that's in the past but has remained a dividing factor for us.

But there came a time that I had to choose Truth over Lies, God's Truth over family... I hope that all of you know that I chose Truth...

I'm not going to dwell on the 2016 first term, except as it becomes relevant... Hopefully, most people are now aware of what is happening in America and across the world because of this president... which is the worst time that can be pinpointed as possibly leading to the loss of our democracy.

Finally, I want to close by just stating at this time, I was greatly disturbed and sad that the evangelical church chose to support Trump... I still haven't quite figured out the why on the part of this religious group in particular. Of course, I have no knowledge of that sect nor do I care to take the time to do any research given what their actions have done to bring religion into politics like it has never been done before!

What I did was start to research about those who were once part of the evangelical church... Frank Schaeffer was one of those individuals. Note, however, that I had never listened to this particular video which was one of his earliest ones (which is what I'd searched on)... I found it, for me, a God Incident, since he was saying much of what I've come to see as I continue to work to know God's Truth...

Perhaps this is the time to say that I believe in God's Creation of all peoples... I believe in Jesus' guidance to Love God First and Love All People (our neighbors)

Insofar as I can, I allow God within Me to guide what I Share... Simply because God is a part of all of us... And He resides in each of us. While He has given us Free Will as part of His Design which allows us to, more or less, "do our thing" with our lives, I personally have chosen to follow Jesus... not as a friend, but as My God...

And quite recently with this new song, I have tried to say, again insofar as possible because I am Who I am with Free Will, that I Speak Jesus...
