MANUFACTURED FROM FOOD GRADE SILICONE. This high quality universal plug is designed to fit most basins, sinks, baths and drains. Unlike firmer rubber stoppers, the softness of silicone allows the stopper to shape itself to uneven or contoured surfaces much easier. This results in a tight seal where rubber plugs and stoppers may fail. ECO FRIENDLY & LOW ALLERGENIC. This product is hygienic, virtually odorless, dishwasher safe and manufactured from highest quality materials. Single piece construction means no seams or cracks for germs to hide. Easy to clean and guaranteed to last. DESIGNED TO DO THE JOB - What makes the stopper different from others is that it is designed to work as optimally as possible. The large diameter maximizes water pressure to give a superior seal. Suction cup secures Stopper to tub floor with a water-tight seal, keeping water (and toys) from escaping down the drain.
As soon as I saw this, I wanted to try it...for my kitchen... although you can try it in other drains. If you're like me, you have other stoppers somewhere in your kitchen that have failed to meet your needs...you know, the flat ones slide away from the drain and the water goes out... or other similar rubber ones will leak and the water slowly runs out...
So I got this today and immediately decided dishes would be washed... Now I had a hand to help! When I first opened the package, I thought...it's too small...darn! But, no, this little beautiful hand goes directly into the drain hold leaving the overall well empty except for this little hand sticking up to serve! LOL It made me laugh, then smile. I filled the sink a number of times to test it and it held...
I then set to washing all my dishes and finished...Still holding...
Then the real test...I'd been cleaning and had a box of knick knacks yet to be washed. What I do is add them to my last dish water and then let them soak...for hours...while I do other things, like, take an afternoon nap...
Hours later, the first thing I did was check...all the water was still there...
So I reached down and took that little hand in mine...and pulled because of his tight grip! What an excellent addition to help with a daily, or more, task!
I also wanted to note that this company, JoysRUs, contacted me directly as a top Amazon reviewer, to ask for my help. They were quite congenial, made arrangements for delivery in the mail immediately. Today I received a followup email to remind me to do the review I had agreed to do...
For both the company and the product, I am quite happy to highly recommend! Giving yourself a hand is the best help you can get!
