Kings Wear Robes - A Message to those who Love God... Why? Sharing A Morning God Incident

 

I woke up angry this morning... First thought... What? Then, the words came... I was being visited by a new minister in my home. My mother was still alive... He came in and looked around into various rooms. Talked to my mother... Flashed into my mind: estate... I broke in, if this is about being a new minister, wanting to talk about tithing... We started arguing about money and what the churches do with money we donate... I could see my mind picturing the huge churches that are alive and well across the world... And I pictured all of the people also around the world that are starving... At some point I said something like, "God told me..." and the new minister broke into what I was saying and asked, "Do you think God speaks to you?" I looked at him questioningly and asked... "Doesn't He speak to you?"

That's when I woke up...

It seems to me that many thoughts and concerns--let's face it worries, are flowing through our minds these days, so I decided to write down what happened as I woke up... I believe it was meant to be a message... What do you think?

Kings wear robes flashed into my mind... immediately I knew the song that I had sung many times, but at least 30 years ago... But I knew the words, which I wanted to share with you all below...

When this happens, I try to see the connections made that "jarred" something in my mind... Yesterday, I listened to part of a video by the Pope... But he said something that I'd never heard before: They consider the mother of Jesus as the Mother of the Church...

Okay I admit that I know little if anything about the doctrine of the Catholic Church, but my memory didn't include that Mary initiated the church. In fact, my memory says that nobody that was living before Jesus died created "the church" except for the Jewish people who used the Old Testament, and which Jesus had spoke against the leaders--and later we learned that they had chosen to reject Christ. That's the extent of what I've been trained from protestant churches. Now, I remember that I had one time questioned our repeating a statement in our church (Baptist) that referred to the holy catholic church. I was told it meant something like the universal church itself...

You know, folks, if anything I can lay claim to as a book reviewer, is that I want to know the meaning of words as I read--and how they are being used by the writer. If I don't understand, then I research until I do understand how the word is meant...

So I have to confess that when I was young, I received pamphlets from a southern baptist minister, who happened to be my uncle, about the sexual sins within that church, which have been exposed since then... and by the way, also in the southern baptist church.  but that's on another page, as my favorite brother-in-law would say... Then I became friends with another woman when I first started working and, though she was a catholic, she acknowledged that she had never read the Bible--that it was interpreted during that time when a priest was speaking... I bought her a bible. I have always felt that the Bible is inspired words of man, not God. It has been edited, rewritten, as shown by later books of reference. Yes, Moses received the Ten Commandments, but thereafter, they still were interpreted by man... It's not that I don't trust that those early christians didn't think they understood what was being said, it is merely that I know what it takes to edit and publish a book in a final form...and I have found that many editors are to be questioned for accuracy and content. So, like Thomas, I am and have always been a doubter... even when I "think" I've had a God Incident, like this, sent directly in a dream, I still know that my mind has been influenced by words some time recently. So, to finish that thought, I cannot see that the woman who created a humble robe for her Son to wear as he left home, ever thought of establishing an organized assembly to worship her son... Nor can I see Jesus/God ever agreeing that the church facilities are more important than using the money we give to support the leaders than to use it for the poor... But that's why I call this personal opinion blog...right?

Anyway, The robe that Christ wore reflects in my mind, the manner in which he approached those who lived during His time on earth. It was homespun-- something that would stay strong, warm, and appropriate for that time period. You may recall that Pharisees at that time wore different symbolic garments to show, or prove, that they were religious leaders? Christ had no thought of creating a structure. He went to where the people were and ministered to them, sometimes healing them, sometimes providing food or water...but also "offering" Living water...

I chose this family gathering video to show what I mean by the ministry I see from Jesus... He spoke to those of us who lived daily just to do what we were being led to do to live within God's Love... And, I watched when I've know something, like this dream, was really from God... Because it reflects God's concern for Truth...and...Love... How better to evaluate your actions than to know you are seeking Truth, and doing it in order to Love our neighbors as Jesus asks of all of us...

Finally consider this, if tithing was a part of God's plan, then it has traditionally been 10% if that was identified as God's needs... How then, can the world's leaders be using much more than that to gain even more power and wealth, as we see happening right now across the world... If we love God and place Him first, then our eyes MUST BE on the children, the women and men who are being murdered by those with questionable authority and goals... I don't profess to know any more than anybody else. But I have the right to SEE, HEAR, WATCH and DECIDE with my own MIND, that something happening is NOT for My or MY Neighbor's Benefit! I have to listen to God, first. Yeah, I'll continue to pay my taxes, but I'll be fighting criminal, illegal actions by our government through that entire process!

Mary made a Robe for her Humble Son made by a loving mother who, when God asked her to do something, she said Yes, Lord... In my opinion, that didn't make her The Mother of the Church or any other position that had not been asked of her by her Heavenly Father...

I found this picture on a page I'd never been on before this morning as I received a notice about ICE moving into a nearby state... This, to me, confirmed, my dream. Jesus wore a homespun robe... His only message was to Love our Neighbors...

I remember one thing that Christ said during the time which led to His crucifixion... When you speak to God, go into a closet, rather than speak in front of the public, seeking glory on yourself...Or words to that effect, my interpretation...

I believe all this is telling us to Take Action! Against Imperialism now spreading
