Republican turns on Pete Hegseth with eight articles of impeachment - Too Little; Too Late?!!!! No! Just the Same Ole' Lack of House Leadership!!!!

 

As I started listening to this "action" this morning, at first I thought, "Finally..."

But as I continued and saw the breadth of charges against the Secretary of Defense Under President Donald J. Trump (who has been given "immunity" by the Supreme Court (before all these actions occurred!)

I had many pro-con thoughts running through my mind... Thankfully, Massey had included all that I personally had known about and questioned as illegal, of course... But then I turned to Jen and wondered if I had just missed Massey re the Ship which was totally out of supplies, etc., and kept on the seas much longer than ever normally done, and so much more...

And then I tried to start counting up the thousands of people who have died due to unauthorized actions!

Then, of course, given the financial theft of OUR TAX dollars by this administration and all the rich men who had pushed this insanity into Project 2025 from the Heritage Foundation and other corporations, I find that there just is NO EXCUSE for what has been allowed to happen!

No wonder one female Supreme Court Judge admits she goes into her office and just cries... In helplessness? In anger? In frustration? And I find it ironic that only 3 women of the 4 has continually voted against all that has happened detrimentally to our nation by the republican-led administration...

Didja notice that there are a lot of women being voted into top candidacy for the November elections? I certainly did! I am quite fed up with all those white rich men who have chosen to use GOD--The Great I AM--as a Tool, a Republican Political Tool to be used to justify lies directly from the top and on down the republican party now in office throughout the nation!

On the other hand, Massey did at least start with the worst of the worst of the Secretaries... Of course, two others have already been fired because of so much backlash of their performance that even Trump was willing to forgo two female choices he'd made--undoubtedly because of his physical interests in having such beautiful women surround him...until they fail at lying for him...or fail at spending too much money for personal use rather than to spotlight on "him..."

And then there is the Speaker of the House who has cancelled any further House attendance until after the election! Can you believe this nonsense... It has to be laughed at, because if is so extreme, if you really think about it, you could feel like crying...Not this time!!!

No, I'm not angry, even though my words might sound like I am... Actually, folks, when I started listening on C-Span, it was this morning, since I normally begin reading for the day around 5- until whenever, depending upon the reaction I have to any given book...and last night's was a blast! Watch for it in the next couple of days...

Folks, let's get serious, more serious than even yesterday!!!

There is NO WAY that the republican party can be allowed to remain in full power...

There is NO WAY that a corrupted Supreme Court can remain in power to grant immunity to illegal actions by the president as they have done...

There is NO WAY that, even if the democratic party does have problems that you are concerned about...just think about it... ARE they worse than what has happened during this less than a year!!!??? 

Think about it. Even if you're choosing what you consider the lesser of two evils, our Nation cannot allow such a devastating destruction of our democracy to continue! 

Trump has screwed our farmers...he's screwed every company through his lying tariffs... He has murdered and put people into fear and anguish through ICE criminal actions that are doing harm all over the world... My memory is not clear, but I believe $50M was paid to the African president of a small "shithole" as identified by Trump and sent people who were seeking asylum to a country where they have already called it "hell..." in interviews...

If you are able to think this is ok for these actions by this president, then, hey, you need to go to another country, in my opinion... Or, gather up the Christian Nationalists who want to kill and separate from everybody not like you, then buy an island... This is NOT the desire of the majority of Americans, as proven by the millions who protest all things happening/incited by this president!
